2007 Holiday Home Tour

The Iowa City Junior Service League is hosting its Fifth Annual Holiday Home Tour on Saturday, November 3rd and Sunday November 4th.  All proceeds will benefit The Shelter House.

This year’s event takes place in three homes located in the Plaza Towers downtown Iowa City.  Marc Moen and Bobby Jett, Unit #1301; Mike Moen, Unit #1301; and Monica Moen, Unit #1106 will have their doors open to the public from 1:00-5:00 pm both days to see festive holiday decorations.  Tickets are $10.00 each and are available at the door. Parking is available in the Chancey Swan and Court Street Ramps.

The vendors participating are Aqua Pro, Belleaire Place, Every Bloomin’ Thing, Fountain of Flowers, Hancher Showcase, Hand’s Jewelers, Iowa Artisan’s Gallery, Iowa City Landscaping, The Mansion, Sueppel’s, and Surroundings.

The Holiday Home Tour event also features a Cocktail Party on Saturday November 3rd from 7:00-10:00 PM at the University Athletics Hall of Fame.  Tickets are $40.00 and are available at the door.  A silent auction features several mini trees decorated by area artists, as well as a wine tasting at Muddy Creek, a stay at Hotel Vetro and dinner at Formosa, and several hosted cocktail parties, among other items.  Live music provided by The Doctets.
